English 11 Summer Reading Assignment
Welcome to English 11! The Great Gatsby is one of my favorite novels, so I look forward to exploring the themes with you in August. To help you prepare for class discussions and writing assignments, I have provided this assignment sheet. Follow the instructions and answer the questions. On the first full day of class (August 16), this worksheet is due, and you will take a reading quiz to assess your understanding of the novel. During the first two weeks of class, you will use this worksheet and the passages you mark in The Great Gatsby as the basis of your first essay (a test grade).
