Visited Kawagoe old street, where the buildings preserve architectural styles from the Edo period, particularly the dark-colored tiles on the roof. I came on a gloomy day but the streets were crowded anyways. I saw tourists, residents, and Japanese ladies dressed in kimonos. Besides that, the area is known for fried thin slices of sweet potatoes and small shops that sell other Japanese delicacies.
