LingnanUniversity announced to launch its full-time "Master of Science Programmein Marketing and International Business", which is now open forapplication. The MScMIB aims to broaden the international perspective ofstudents and enhance their innovation capabilities so that they can capitalizeon business opportunities arising from the global marketplace.
Builtupon the foundation of liberal arts education, the MScMIB programme adoptssmall class teaching and applies experiential learning methods to improvestudents’ ability to fully understand the rapidly changing businessenvironment. With cutting edge content and conducive methods of teaching, theprogram can help students to advance their careers in marketing andinternational business.
TheMScMIB is a one-year full-time master programme. Applicants with a recognizedbachelor's degree, proven language proficiency, and some working experience arewelcome to apply. The unique features of the program include:
Comprehensive and Balanced Compulsory Courses: We provide solidtraining of background knowledge in Marketing and International Business, whichenables students to comprehend the challenges in business environment, andidentify the product/market opportunities (Mind-set).
State-of-art Electives Courses: Students canlearn about new topics including e-commerce and social media marketing,financial services marketing, globalization and financial market development,which equip students with the state-of-art skills sets for global business andmanagement (Skill-set).
Year-long (for Two-semester) Consulting Projects: We offer students with hands-on experience in a real-business setting whenstudents work on projects sponsored by well-known business organizations andprofessional firms (Action-learningfor practical experience).
Professional Development Activities Series: We provide numerous outside-classroom networking and personal developmentopportunities (involvingcompany visits, training programs in building professional image, teamworkskills and leadership) so as to familiarize students with thebusiness environment of Hong Kong.
