上次文章中，我们说到，巴斯大学的口译和翻译专业非常难申请。一个是因为学校是第一个开设翻译类，同传的学校在欧洲；另外，学校基本是给联合国和欧盟来培养翻译人才的，学生的就业资源非常好。学校本身的资源也是非常好的，教授的教授也都是在翻译领域的大神级人物。
今天想和大家介绍，巴斯专门给中国学子开设的另外一个和商业相关的翻译专业：Translation with Business Interpreting (Chinese) MA。
课程的宣传语是，在这个硕士课程中，让自己成为一名熟练的汉英翻译和商务口译员。

Our MA Translation with Business Interpreting (Chinese) is a highly competitive, sought-after master's, ideal for those with an interest and aptitude for translation or business interpreting.
You may be working already as a translator and interpreter in mainland China, Taiwan, the UK or elsewhere, or looking to establish yourself with the specialist skills needed to excel in this profession.
The focus of the course is on written translation from English to Chinese and Chinese to English, as well as business interpreting between English and Chinese. In particular, you'll develop translation and interpreting skills suited to working in business and tailored to market needs in mainland China, Taiwan, the UK and other regions.

申请要求：
学术要求：巴斯基本录取都只要211及以上背景。基本要求是均分85+。You should have a bachelor’s honours degree or international equivalent, typically 2:1 or above.
雅思要求：总分7.5，小分写作不能低于7，其他三项不低于6.5。IELTS: 7.5 overall with no less than 7 in the writing component and no less than 6.5 in the speaking, listening and reading components.
小彩蛋：
在第二学期的时候，学校可能也是会安排实习机会的，基本都是在伦敦，纽约，或者日内瓦。You may be able to go on a placement in Semester 2. Several of our students have completed three-week to two-month-long translation internships at the UN in London, New York and Geneva. Placements are not guaranteed.
