无论你是申请UBC大学的哪个专业或是哪个校区，你都需要完成每篇不超过 200字 的4-8篇小短文。

我们都知道，无论你是申请UBC大学的哪个专业或是哪个校区，你都需要完成每篇不超过 200字 的4-8篇小短文。
除了短文之外，申请人还需要提供至少1项，且不多于5项的课外活动经历，可以是领导力活动、学术成绩、体育活动、社区服务或是个人才艺。
想要科学避坑，想要写出独得招生官的青睐的文书绝非易事。一份优秀的文书，绝对不是在几分钟凭空想象就能写出来的。
在下笔之前，你不得不需要弄明白以下几个问题：
什么情况下，必须写Personal Profile ?
在以下情况下，你必须完成个人资料作为在线申请的一部分：
你是一名高中生，已在UBC的Okanagan或Vancouver校园申请了任何学位。
你是大学或学院的转学生，在Okanagan校园申请护理，或在温哥华校园申请商业或运动机能学。
如何准备Personal Profile ?
每个“个人资料”问题都需要简短的论文回答（50到200个字），因此在开始在线申请之前，您需要考虑一下答案。
请记住以下三个技巧：

Personal Profile 问题有哪些？
1.Explain how you responded to a problem and/or an unfamiliar situation. What did you do, what was the outcome, and what did you learn from the experience?2.Briefly describe the culture of your school community and your involvement within it. What impact has the school culture had on you? How would you enhance or change it?3.Tell us about who you are. How would your family, friends, and/or members of your community describe you? If possible, please include something about yourself that you are most proud of and why.4.What is important to you? And why?5.Describe up to five activities that you have pursued or accomplishments achieved in one or more of the following areas. Please outline the nature of your responsibilities within these activities. (50 words per description)

6.Tell us more about one or two activities listed above that are most important to you. Please explain the role you played and what you learned in the process. You will be asked for a reference who can speak to your response.7.Additional information: You may wish to use the space below to provide UBC with more information on your academic history to date and/or your future academic plans. For example: How did you choose your courses in secondary school? Are there life circumstances that have affected your academic decisions to date? What have you done to prepare yourself specifically for your intended area of study at UBC?8.Please submit the names of two referees who know you well and can comment on your preparedness for study at UBC. Examples of referees include an employer, a community member, a coach, a teacher/instructor, or anyone who knows you well. 请记住，训练有素的UBC读者将审阅和比较成千上万的个人资料。脱颖而出的最佳方法是确保 你 有意义且有见地的话要说。
4. Voice
沟通很重要。 你 是否编写了真实的个性化个人资料？ 你 的个人资料是否真实反映了 你 的个人话语？ 你 的声音会以有意义的方式脱颖而出吗？或者 你 的个人资料读起来是否会与其他人一样？
5 UBC招生官不喜欢看到什么样的文书呢？
1. 逻辑结构 不清晰，没有重点。 2. 相关性 不突出，谈论过多无关文书主题的琐事。 3. 口语化 的写作风格。 4. 千篇一律的文书素材， 缺乏新意。 5. 文章 平淡无趣， 读起来像一篇生硬的报告。 6. 仅仅只是陈述事实，而 没有分析 对自己的影响。 7. 没有 在文书中 展现出自己独特的 个性 ，即“你是什么样的人”。
